Damon who has been a resident of Glendale his whole life has over 30 years of experience in raising dogs. Amada a transplanted New Yorker fell in love with Middle Village and then Damon in 2011. On Feb 29 2016 – Leap Day they decided to get married and this year have created StoryTails Dog Walking company together so that they could provide excellent loving care to each and every dog they meet as if they were a member of their own family. We hope that you will place your trust in us.

What time do you operate walks?
Walks are between 9am–7pm weekdays/10am–5pm weekends, and are typically done one dog at a time. Exceptions available if there is more than one dog in the same household (maximum of 3).
How will you access my home?
Keys are often exchanged at the Meet N Greet, or left with the doorman if you have one.
Do you charge for additional dogs?
We prefer to give one on one attention to each family we walk so we do not pack walk our dogs. Only exception is if there is a household already with 3 dogs we will walk them all at the same time. Each additional dog is $4.00 extra.
Will I be updated on my pets while in your care?
Yes. Your walker/sitter will text you with updates and pictures, so you can be confident that your pet is safe and happy!
If my pets have an accident in the house will you clean it up?
Yes, we will clean up after your pet to the best of our ability.
Is there a fee for our consultation or meet and greet?
Not for the first meet and greet. We offer a free initial 20 minute consultation to familiarize ourselves with you and your furry friends needs. During this meet and greet we require (2 sets) of keys or written permission of access with the doorman/concierge (access to your apartment).
However, should you require an additional meeting, beyond your consultation to either meet with or give keys to your dedicated dog walker, we will schedule a 20 minute visit for when you are home. This is a great way for your dog walker to meet your pet(s) and ask any questions they might have. For dog’s it’s $16.
What is your cancellation policy?
Notification of cancelation for walks must be received 24 hours in advance. If there is no notice or your walker shows up for the appointment and it is cancelled in person then a $10 fee will be applied.
How much time do we need to book in advance?
Since each walk is a private dedicated walk we require 48 hours in advance notice. If you have a last minute request or emergency contact us and we will try to accommodate you but we cannot guarantee service.
Do you work weekends and holidays?
Yes, we are available on weekends. We are also available on most holidays, however an extra $10 will be charged for those days, which include: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. (Walks on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day are not being offered at this time.)
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, we are a member and we are insured and bonded with Pet Sitters Associates, LLC.
